The 164ft Westport motor yacht Trending (ex-Vango) was built in 2006 by Westport and last refitted in 2016.
Trending’s accommodates 12 guests in 6 rooms, including a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 2 double cabins, 1 twin cabin and 1 pullman bed. She has 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
This sensational 6 stateroom beauty is completing a $4M+ major refit (2015-16). The owners are experienced yachtsmen and very experienced charterers for over 20 years. The husband and wife couple have been involved in the detailed planning and execution of the refit, continuously focused from the guests’ point of view. The results include unique features like the state of the art audio, video, and WiFi systems throughout the yacht. Music, videos and photos from guest iPhones can wirelessly play on both the ultra high definition televisions, and on the high quality sound system throughout the yacht and her main tender.
Guest focus on ease of use and comfort has resulted in a large, therapeutic hot tub surrounded by sun beds and a bar on the Sundeck. This area can be partially or fully shaded as desired. Multiple bar and dining areas include alfresco dining for 12 on both the Main Deck Aft and on the new Skylounge Deck Aft extension. Four of the staterooms have king size beds. Every bathroom in the staterooms is outfitted with luxurious rain head shower heads and handheld sprays. Zero speed stabilizers and a large stern attachable swimming pool with netting and full walk around platform enhance the guest experience at anchor. Three tenders and many toys provide flexibility, convenience and enjoyment for all.
The interior has been completely transformed and now exudes sophistication with an open, airy feel of luxury and contemporary styling. Sea inspired marble and granite colors and textures are complemented with white and neutral soft goods adorning the new flooring, cabinets, bars and furniture throughout. Large oversized windows and floor-to-ceiling aft glass doors on two levels add an even greater sense of openness. Glass wind doors lock out brisk winds from the alfresco dining areas when necessary.
The luxurious Master Suite with KING bed is located on the Main Deck forward featuring his and hers bathrooms with a whirlpool and a separate shower, a large private study with a sofa and comfortable seating and wireless audio, video and shade controls. The beautifully-appointed, uniquely situated VIP Suite on the Bridge Deck amidships features a KING bed and a private patio with comfortable seating, perfect for morning coffee or tea in a quiet outdoor space for VIP guests. The four additional Guest Staterooms include 2 with KING beds, 1 with TWIN beds and 1 with a TWIN bed and a PULLMAN. All bathrooms in the staterooms are designed with dramatic stonework and new fixtures with guest comfort, needs, and practicality in mind. The elevator services 3 decks, from the staterooms to the Bridge Deck.
The wide open Main Salon includes both a formal dining area for 12, and a roomy lounge area with a large sofa, arm chairs, and a pop up 65 inch ultra HD 4k television. The Main Deck Aft offers dining for 12, a bar and a casual seating area at the stern. On the Bridge Deck, aft of the VIP Suite, is the totally new Skylounge, with a large granite wet bar with seating for 6 and room for 12, a large built in sofa and arm chairs, and a 75 inch Ultra HD 4k television with custom surround sound, Apple TV, Kaleidescope central movie server and XBOX console. Just outside is the Skylounge Deck Aft with the new deck extension offering alfresco dining for 12 in total privacy. The Sundeck aft has been extended to accommodate a helicopter*. The large therapeutic Jacuzzi is located forward with large sun beds all around, 4 umbrellas for full shade if desired, and a bar with 3 stools at the edge of the Jacuzzi. A second U-shaped wet bar with seating for 6 is centrally situated with a huge seating area aft with sofas and a large optional sun awning. Further aft is a spacious sun bed. Audio, video and WiFi capabilities are fully available on the Sundeck, perfect for small gatherings or dance parties.
The sizable towed tender, named “TRENDER” is a 2015 – 37 ft Boston Whaler Outrage, powered by 3 – 300 hp Mercury engines. It has an air-conditioned area below to escape the hottest weather as well as an electric shade awning aft. The useful dive door provides easy access and exit to both the yacht’s swim platform and to the sea. It has a bathroom with shower and a kitchenette and is fully equipped with top-of-the-line fishing gear, and Bluetooth stereo. The convenient built-in grill makes for a quick “fresh-caught” fish or seafood feast any time. Night vision, a skyhook feature, joystick control, and top-of-the-line sound and electronics complete the tender experience.
The yacht also carries 2 brand new Novurania tenders: an18 ft powered by a 115 hp Yamaha with bimini top, and a 14 ft powered by a 60 hp Yamaha. Both tenders are on stand-by to offer exciting adventures ashore or exploration of coastal sights for the enjoyment of all guests.
