The 214ft motor yacht Callisto was built in 2006 by Feadship.
Callisto’s interior layout sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 rooms, including a master suite, 3 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She has 16 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
There is a fixed sunbathing area with mattresses plus movable summit chairs and small tables right forward adjacent to the Jacuzzi, with shelter from the wind thanks to the reverse sheer windscreen. Moving aft, there are sliding doors, which separate the beach area from the bar and TV area under the full width arch T-top mast configuration. The crew have direct access internally to the sundeck via the bar service stairway, which runs through all decks. Guests can access the sundeck via their own private internal staircase to starboard or via an external stairway from the bridge deck aft. At the aft end of this covered area, there are two circular built-in dining areas for a total of twelve guests; moving further aft under a large awning there is a more casual area with Wicker sofas, arm chairs and a large coffee table. The aft sundeck area comprises of a large fixed sunbathing area shaded by umbrellas if desired. Full satellite television and stereo are available on all decks and throughout the entire accommodation with Surround Sound in owner’s suite and both saloons. There are also two TVs in the gymnasium.
The crew tender and MCA rescue boat are only ever carried on this deck for ocean passages. In charter mode they are both carried on the foredeck.
Forward of the wheelhouse is an open-air guest seating area offering clear views forward over the cabin top and bow. The vast wheelhouse was designed to accommodate guests, (without interfering with the crew) in two large seating areas port and starboard. Moving aft, there is the large ship’s office to starboard and guests’ fully equipped gymnasium with large full height windows offering tremendous views. The captain’s cabin is to port. There is a large crew pantry on the port side, again with direct access to all decks (up to sundeck, down to main deck pantry). There is a crew service stairway from the main deck pantry to the guest cabins on the lower deck and a crew service door from the main deck pantry to the main deck guest lobby, thus allowing crew to service all guest areas discretely/without disturbing guests. The
bridge deck saloon, aft on this deck has a tremendous amount of space and light thanks to large and low windows both sides and aft doors that open virtually the entire width of the saloon to the bridge deck aft. This saloon offers a large sofa with armchairs and low table with its own flat screen TV incorporated in the front of the bar. The full wet bar is accessed discretely by crew via the pantry on the portside and has been designed to be user friendly for guests. ‘Callisto’ has proven to be an extremely comfortable sea boat having experienced some heavy weather conditions during trials and delivery. Particular attention was given to this at extensive tank testing. She has zero speed stabilizers and a most sophisticated antiroll rudder system which have both proven to be extremely effective. She is also equipped with a multidirectional stern thruster and stern anchor which ensure ultimate comfort and stability in all conditions. She also has a selective dynamic positioning capability allowing the vessel to remain hovered stationary whilst launching or recovering tenders without being at anchor.
